Position OverviewThe Technical Cluster Lead is responsible for overseeing technical operations, service delivery, and team performance across a designated cluster of properties or markets. This role focuses on operational excellence, technical innovation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure optimal building performance and client satisfaction within the assigned cluster.Key ResponsibilitiesCluster Operations ManagementLead technical operations across assigned property cluster (typically 5-15 properties)Oversee building systems performance, maintenance programs, and capital projectsEnsure consistent service delivery standards across all cluster propertiesCoordinate with property management teams to optimize operational efficiencyManage cluster-wide technical budgets and vendor relationshipsTechnical ExcellenceImplement and maintain technical standards and best practices across the clusterConduct regular property assessments and technical auditsDrive energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability programsOversee preventive maintenance programs and emergency response protocolsEnsure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standardsTeam LeadershipManage technical staff including engineers, technicians, and specialists across cluster propertiesProvide coaching, development, and performance management for direct reportsFoster collaboration and knowledge sharing between cluster teamsCoordinate training programs and skill development initiativesSupport recruitment and onboarding of technical personnelStrategic Planning & InnovationDevelop cluster-specific technical strategies and improvement plansIdentify opportunities for operational optimization and cost reductionLead implementation of new technologies and digital solutionsAnalyze performance metrics and develop action plans for improvementSupport business development and client retention effortsStakeholder ManagementServe as primary technical contact for cluster clients and tenantsCollaborate with account management and business development teamsCoordinate with corporate technical teams and subject matter expertsManage relationships with key vendors and service providersProvide technical expertise for lease negotiations and space planningRequired QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field7-10 years of experience in commercial real estate operations, facilities management, or building engineering3-5 years of supervisory or team leadership experienceProfessional certifications (FMP, SMA, CFM, or relevant engineering licenses) preferredTechnical CompetenciesStrong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, security)Experience with CMMS/IWMS platforms and building automation systemsUnderstanding of energy management and sustainability practicesFamiliarity with construction and capital project managementKnowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standardsLeadership & Communication SkillsProven ability to lead and motivate technical teamsStrong problem-solving and analytical capabilitiesExcellent communication skills with ability to interact with diverse stakeholdersProject management experience with ability to handle multiple prioritiesCustomer service orientation with focus on client satisfactionTechnology ProficiencyExperience with PropTech solutions and IoT building technologiesProficiency in data analysis and reporting toolsKnowledge of digital workplace technologiesUnderstanding of smart building concepts and applicationsPreferred QualificationsExperience managing geographically dispersed teamsBackground in multiple property types (office, industrial, retail, healthcare)Experience with ESG reporting and sustainability certifications (LEED, ENERGY STAR, etc.)Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement trainingAdvanced degree in Engineering, Business, or related fieldKey Performance IndicatorsCluster operational performance metrics (uptime, response times, tenant satisfaction)Budget management and cost optimization achievementsEnergy efficiency and sustainability improvementsTeam performance and development metricsClient retention and satisfaction scoresWhat We OfferCompetitive salary with performance incentivesComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and retirement plansProfessional development opportunities and continuing education supportFlexible work arrangements and modern technology toolsCareer advancement opportunities within JLL's global platformAccess to industry-leading training and certification programsTravel RequirementsRegular travel within assigned cluster (up to 50%)Occasional travel for training, conferences, or corporate meetingsValid driver's license requiredLocation: On-site –Pune, MHScheduled Weekly Hours:40If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all of the requirements.
