Position Overview:

This position is responsible for managing and optimizing DigiKey's Salesforce platform by configuring user access, maintaining data integrity, troubleshooting issues, providing training to users, and ensuring the system aligns with business needs through customization and automation, essentially acting as the primary point of contact for all Salesforce related support and system administration tasks within DigiKey. This requires a deep understanding of Salesforce features, security settings, and best practices to effectively solve user problems and optimize platform usage.

Responsibilities


•Administer and manage the Salesforce platform, including user setup, roles, profiles, and permissions.


•Perform regular system maintenance, data cleaning, and data integrity checks.


•Develop and implement custom workflows, validation rules, and process automation.


•Provide user support and training to ensure efficient use of Salesforce features and functionalities.


•Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce.


•Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design tailored solutions.


•Monitor system performance and work with IT to ensure the platform's stability and security.


•Stay updated with Salesforce releases and advise on relevant updates and improvements.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:


•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


•Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) is required; additional Salesforce certifications are a plus.


•Minimum of 3 years' experience in Salesforce administration and support.


•Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionalities.


•Proficiency in data management and database concepts.


•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


•Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.


•Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications


•Experience with Salesforce Lightning and other Salesforce products (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).


•Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and other Salesforce development tools.


•Familiarity with third-party integration tools and APIs.

Physical Requirements


•Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen


•Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body
