Job Overview:
We are hiring a Senior Engineer – Sales & Marketing (Front Sales) for our client based in Pune. The ideal candidate should have strong technical sales experience in industrial equipment, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage B2B client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and manage sales enquiries from OEMs, EPCs, end users, and consultants
- Conduct client meetings to understand technical applications and offer appropriate valve solutions
- Collaborate with application engineering team for accurate proposal submissions
- Lead price negotiations and handle customer objections while maintaining profitability
- Track and manage enquiry-to-order conversion pipeline
- Build long-term relationships with key accounts to drive repeat business
- Conduct site visits and technical discussions as needed
- Provide competitive intelligence and feedback to the management team
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Instrumentation Engineering (MBA preferred)
- Diploma holders can apply with 2–3 years of additional relevant experience
- Candidates from the industrial equipment sector (valves, pumps, turbines, instrumentation, etc.) preferred
- Strong ownership mindset, self-motivated, and ready to travel
- Confident in handling commercial discussions and sales closure
- Familiarity with CRM tools and virtual meeting platforms is an advantage
