Consultant (Operational Excellence & Expansion)

Essential:

  • Masters degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management, Operations Management, or related discipline from a recognised institution.

Desirable:

Graduation in medicine/dental

Essential:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in large-scale programme operations, preferably in public health, health insurance.
  • Proven expertise in workflow design, operational process optimisation, and performance monitoring.

Desirable:

  • Experience in implementing expansion strategies for national-level government programmes.
  • Familiarity with government reporting structures, inter-ministerial coordination, and state-level implementation dynamics.

Job Description/ Key Responsibility

I. Conduct periodic operational reviews to assess compliance with defined processes, protocols, and convergence mechanisms; recommend corrective actions for improvement.

II. Identify opportunities to expand convergence with new ministries, departments, and partner schemes, and support the development of scale-up strategies.

III. Assist in designing and streamlining workflows, guidelines, and SOPs to improve efficiency and interoperability across schemes.

IV. Track progress of operational improvements and expansion efforts; prepare periodic reports and updates for senior leadership.

Facilitate engagement with internal teams, and partner ministries to strengthen collaboration and integration efforts.
