Freelance Accounting Faculty – Job DescriptionRole Overview

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Freelance Accounting Faculty member to train students and working professionals in core accounting concepts and practical applications. The trainer should have strong technical knowledge and the ability to explain concepts in a simple, industry-oriented manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct classroom or online training sessions on:
  • Fundamentals of Accounting
  • Journal, Ledger & Trial Balance
  • Preparation of Final Accounts:
  • Profit & Loss Account
  • Balance Sheet
  • Trading Account
  • Manufacturing Account
  • Cash Flow Statement
  • MS Excel for accounting (if applicable)
  • Teach both theoretical concepts and practical accounting workflows.
  • Prepare teaching materials, notes, exercises, and assessments.
  • Conduct student evaluation through tests, assignments, and practical tasks.
  • Provide clarification and guidance to students on accounting problems.
  • Ensure that students gain confidence in preparing complete accounts from basic entries to final financial statements.
  • Maintain attendance, performance records, and progress reports.
  • Support course content and curriculum improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional qualifications like CA / CMA / CS / MBA (Finance) are an added advantage.
  • Experience in teaching accounting or working in the finance domain.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and statutory requirements.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to deliver interactive sessions both offline and online.

Work Arrangement

  • Freelance / Part-time
  • Flexible session timing
  • Compensation based on hourly/session delivery
