Role & responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue RFQs, tender documents, BOQs, and scope definitions for MEP works (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Electrical, Plumbing, ELV systems, etc.).
  • Analyze bids and technical-commercial proposals received from contractors and vendors.
  • Evaluate MEP vendors and negotiate prices, terms, and deliverables in line with budget and timelines.
  • Finalize contracts and work orders with approved vendors/subcontractors.
  • Draft, review, and administer MEP contracts (Lump sum, Item rate, Turnkey, EPC).
  • Monitor compliance with contract terms, scope of work, and deliverables.
  • Issue contract amendments, variation orders, and extensions of time (EOTs) as required.
  • Maintain proper documentation and change control for contractual deviations.
  • Assist in MEP cost estimation during project budgeting and planning stages.
  • Monitor ongoing MEP costs against budgets and forecasts; identify overruns or savings.
  • Support in value engineering exercises and cost optimization for MEP packages.
  • Coordinate with Design, Planning, QS, Site Execution, and Finance teams to align MEP contracts with overall project goals.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all contract-related communication with MEP vendors/consultants.
  • Coordinate with legal teams for contract risk assessment and dispute resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety norms, and quality standards for MEP services.
  • Identify contract risks and develop mitigation strategies
