Role Overview
We're seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Sales & Customer Success to spearhead our market expansion initiatives. This pivotal leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, building high-performing teams, and
establishing robust customer success frameworks that drive platform adoption, revenue
growth, and stakeholder satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of B2B sales leadership, exceptional relationship management capabilities, and the strategic
vision to scale our business operations.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
· Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business targets and KPIs
· Build, mentor, and lead high-performing sales and customer success teams
· Establish standardized sales processes, methodologies, and best practices
· Drive organizational revenue growth through innovative sales approaches
· Collaborate with executive leadership to align sales strategies with company vision
Business Development & Market Expansion
· Identify and pursue strategic opportunities for business growth and market penetration
· Develop territory-specific acquisition strategies for both supply and demand sides
· Lead high-value client acquisitions and relationship management
· Forge strategic partnerships to enhance market presence and platform value
· Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
· Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual targets for supplier and distributor onboarding
· Develop scalable frameworks to accelerate the onboarding process while maintaining quality
· Create sustainable growth models for consistent expansion of platform participation
Team Management & Development
· Recruit, train, and develop a high-caliber sales and customer success team
· Set clear performance expectations and accountability frameworks
· Conduct regular coaching and performance evaluations
· Foster a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and achievement
· Manage team dynamics to ensure collaborative problem-solving and knowledge sharing
Revenue & Performance Management
· Establish sales forecasts, quotas, and performance metrics
· Monitor and analyze sales performance data to optimize strategies
· Implement effective pipeline management systems
· Develop incentive structures that align with business objectives
· Create reporting frameworks to track key performance indicators
Client Relationship Management
· Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships with key accounts
· Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the client journey
· Develop strategies for account expansion, retention, and advocacy
· Implement voice-of-customer programs to gather insights for product enhancements
· Resolve complex client issues that require senior leadership intervention
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Partner with Marketing to align lead generation strategies with sales objectives
· Work with Product teams to incorporate market feedback into platform development
· Collaborate with Finance on pricing strategies, forecasting, and budgeting
· Engage with Operations to ensure seamless delivery of client commitments
· Contribute to company-wide strategic planning initiatives
Required Qualifications Experience & Education
· Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
· years of progressive experience in B2B sales leadership roles
· Demonstrated success in building and scaling sales organizations
· Proven track record in meeting or exceeding revenue targets
· Experience with marketplace business models highly desired
· Background in corporate gifting industry or related B2B sectors is advantageous
· Demonstrated expertise in selling B2B SaaS/platform solutions to businesses
· Proven success in digital client acquisition and virtual onboarding processes
· Experience in implementing technology-driven sales approaches for remote client engagement\
