PaperLite is a fast-growing SaaS platform built for Chartered Accountancy and Financial Consulting firms. The platform helps firms automate operational workflows such as task management, invoice reminders, document handling, time tracking, reminders, and client communication. PaperLite enables firms to save significant time every month through structured and efficient operations.
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for acquiring new clients, conducting product presentations, expanding PaperLite's market presence, and contributing directly to the company's revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Identify, engage, and convert leads from CA firms and financial consultancies.
- Conduct product demos, both online and offline, explaining PaperLite's value proposition.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets aligned with the company's revenue goals.
Client Engagement and Consultation
- Understand client workflows and operational pain points.
- Recommend appropriate features, plans, and solutions based on client needs.
- Build long-term relationships and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
Market Expansion
- Explore new customer segments and outreach opportunities.
- Represent PaperLite at events, seminars, exhibitions, and industry meetups.
- Collect insights about market trends and competitors to support strategic planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Share product feedback and feature requests with the Product team.
- Coordinate with Marketing on campaigns and lead generation projects.
- Work closely with the Onboarding and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth client activation.
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM regarding lead progress and client interactions.
- Prepare weekly sales reports, funnel analytics, and forecasts.
- Track outreach performance and identify improvement areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS sales, enterprise software sales, or B2B sales.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to handle objections effectively and close deals.
- Understanding of CA firm operations is an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently.
- Willingness to travel for meetings and events as required.
