Job Title: Business Development & Costing Manager*

*Key Responsibilities* :

Business Development:

1. *Market Research & Strategy*

o Identify new business opportunities in the automobile sheet metal manufacturing sector.

o Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

o Develop and implement growth strategies.

2. *Client Acquisition & Relationship Management*

o Build strong relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and key industry stakeholders.

o Participate in RFQs, technical discussions, and price negotiations.

o Ensure seamless communication with clients regarding project requirements and timelines.

3. *Sales & Revenue* *Growth*

o Work on pricing strategies to win new projects while ensuring profitability.

o Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.

o Collaborate with internal teams for order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

*Costing & Estimation* :

1. Cost Analysis & Quotation Preparation

o Develop cost estimates for sheet metal components, considering raw material, labor, machinery, tooling, and overheads.

o Conduct feasibility studies and profitability analysis.

o Prepare and submit quotations based on detailed cost breakdowns.

2. Vendor & Supplier Coordination

o Collaborate with suppliers to get raw material cost insights.

o Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors for cost-effective procurement.

3. Process & Manufacturing Cost Optimization

o Work closely with the production and design teams to optimize manufacturing costs.

o Identify cost-saving opportunities in material selection, production techniques, and supply chain management.

*Key Skills & Competencies* :

• Strong knowledge of automobile sheet metal components and manufacturing processes.

• Expertise in costing, estimation, and financial analysis.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and costing software.

• Ability to develop business strategies and execute them effectively.

• Knowledge of raw materials, tooling, die costs, and stamping processes.

• Understanding of RFQ (Request for Quotation) and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) processes.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.

• New business acquisition and revenue growth.

• Accuracy of cost estimations and profit margins.

• Client retention and satisfaction.

• Competitive pricing strategies and win ratio for RFQs.
