
IT Sales Development Representative

We are seeking a proactive and target-driven Sales Executive with 2–6 years of experience in IT Sales and ERP Sales, specifically focused on Infor ERP solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, qualifying leads, and supporting the sales pipeline. This role requires proficiency in using tools like ZoomInfo for lead generation, CRM systems for tracking, and working collaboratively with sales and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Qualification:
Identify and prospect new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, social media, and other channels.
Qualify inbound leads based on predefined criteria (budget, authority, need, timing).
Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects' pain points and business needs, ensuring a match with Infor ERP solutions.
Appointment Setting
Schedule meetings and product demos for Account Executives (AEs) or Sales Managers.
Maintain a pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team to follow up on and convert into customers.
CRM And Sales Tools Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, contacts, and activities in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Track and report on key sales metrics such as outreach volume, meetings set, conversion rates, and progress of the pipeline.
Collaboration And Support
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine lead-generation strategies, messaging, and customer outreach efforts.
Work closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads and alignment on sales strategies.
Market Research And Feedback
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to help tailor the sales approach.
Provide valuable feedback to the marketing team on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and any shifts in buyer behavior to improve sales strategies.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience: 2 to 6 years of proven experience in IT Sales and ERP Sales, with a focus on Infor ERP solutions.
Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ZoomInfo for lead generation and CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
In-depth knowledge of Infor ERP and its value proposition for businesses across different industries.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and drive results.
Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
Preferred Skills
Prior experience with Infor ERP implementation or support is a plus.
Existing relationships with decision-makers in target industries.
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot.
Experience in SaaS or technology sales.
ERP Sales
Familiarity with sales prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, ZoomInfo, etc.).
Understanding of lead qualification frameworks like BANT or MEDDIC.
