Job Description
Post- Sales Executive FMCG products (Ecommerce)
Key Responsibilities
1. E-commerce Strategy & Sales Growth
- Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce sales strategies to drive revenue growth across various online platforms and marketplaces.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media, aligning with e-commerce sales objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like traffic, conversion rates, sales revenue, and customer engagement, adjusting strategies as necessary.
2. Marketplace & Account Management
- Manage relationships with key e-commerce partners, maximizing sales opportunities on platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and quick commerce platforms like Zepto and Blinkit.
- Optimize product listings on e-commerce platforms to improve visibility, conversion rates, and overall sales performance.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes, utilizing data insights to inform strategic decision-making.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure the website aligns with brand strategy, visual guidelines, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including supply chain and finance, to ensure seamless operations and alignment towards common business objectives.
- Lead Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with e-commerce players to drive mutual growth and success.
4. Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze website performance and customer behavior using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to make data-driven decisions aimed at improving conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
- Generate regular reports on e-commerce performance, tracking sales growth, customer behavior, traffic trends, and other relevant KPIs.
- Use insights to recommend and implement changes to improve performance and drive growth.
5. Technology & Platform Management
- Oversee the management and integration of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce), ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with web developers and IT teams to resolve technical issues and improve site functionality.
- Stay up to date with e-commerce trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company's platform remains competitive.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.Experience
: 4–8 years of proven experience in e-commerce sales, particularly within the FMCG sector.Technical Skills
: Proficiency in managing and optimizing e-commerce platforms, including technical aspects like integrations and data feeds; familiarity with major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, ONDC, Amazon, Jio Mart, ).Analytical Skills
: Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools; ability to generate actionable insights from sales data.Communication Skills
: Excellent negotiation and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Adaptability
: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to evolving e-commerce trends.
