Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Chennai for the Vice President - Manufacturing Operations - Aerospace Domain. The role involves ensuring effective management of manufacturing operations, implementing strategies for operational excellence, and improving supply chain processes. Additional responsibilities include overseeing production schedules, maintaining quality standards, managing resources efficiently, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall performance.

Looking for a person with 25 yrs experience with industrial P&L experience in a machine shop.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Manufacturing Operations and Manufacturing Operations Management
  • Proficiency in Operational Excellence and Operations Management
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management with a focus on optimization and efficiency
  • Proven leadership and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset
  • A minimum of 25 years of experience in a machine shop environment
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field
  • Knowledge of modern manufacturing technologies, tools, and software
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements in a manufacturing setting
