Role & responsibilities
The Assistant Manager Business Development will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition, expanding business with existing clients, overseeing sales activities, managing the sales team, and developing effective strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. The role also involves building strong customer relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
1) Identify and develop new business opportunities in Maharashtra and Gujarat
2) Grow business with existing customers
3) Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen business relationships
4) Ensure customer satisfaction and drive long-term partnerships
5) Understand customer pain points and technical requirements to offer suitable solutions
5) Monitor, and support the sales team to achieve targets
6) Schedule Customer monitoring
7) Track and analyse performance metrics to refine strategies
8) Drive continual improvement initiatives within the department
9) Collect periodic customer feedback and implement corrective actions as needed
Preferred candidate profile
1) 4-6 years of B2B industrial Business Development experience (preferably in sensors, instrumentation, automation, or similar technical products)
2) Strong existing customer base and industry relationships
3) Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Engineering( electrical , electronics or mechanical) (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
4) Proven ability to work independently with a strategic, goal-oriented mindset
5) Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
