Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef located in Alibag. The Chef will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes, using traditional Maharashtrian recipes. Day-to-day tasks include managing kitchen staff, maintaining inventory and ensuring safety and hygiene standards. The Chef will also be expected to develop new recipes and contribute to the overall menu, ensuring that the culinary offerings remain authentic and innovative.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in traditional Maharashtrian cooking techniques and recipes
  • Experience in kitchen staff management and kitchen operations
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Creativity in developing new recipes and menu items
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Culinary training or relevant qualification is a plus
  • Coordinate with the purchase department for timely procurement of ingredients.
