Prepare and cook a variety of dishes as per menu and production requirements.
- Develop and test new recipes for product innovation, especially Konkan-based food items.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in cooking methods, portion control, and presentation.
- Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards (FSSAI compliance).
- Monitor kitchen inventory, food costs, and raw material usage.
- Coordinate with the purchase department for timely procurement of ingredients.
- Maintain daily production records and assist in planning menus and production schedules.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation for all food items.
- Manage wastage control and portion sizes efficiently.
- Uphold professional conduct and teamwork in the kitchen environment.
