This will be done in conjunction with fellow engineers, business analysts and business stakeholders.

To be successful as a TM Tech Lead, you should have experience with:

  • Experience Anti Money Laundering AML domain.
  • Experience in working using Agile approach is must.
  • Experience in LCT and control tribe member engagement.
  • Experience in project risk assessments, actions, and mitigations.
  • Strong communication skills, stakeholder management.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Jira, backlog grooming, sprint planning.
  • Appropriate experience interacting with Product Owners and business/ IT stakeholders.
  • Experience in delivering Automation Projects involving strategic tech stack - Java, React in a cloud native environment.
  • Hands-on experience in shell scripting, Database programming, and scheduling tools.
  • Consistently demonstrate professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor and discretion. Demonstrate sensitivity in handling confidential information.
  • AML Application specific: -
  • Should have end to end knowledge of Transaction Monitoring data flow.
  • Having AML alert Tuning, alert Workflow management and experience on various AML rules is preferred.
  • Financial Crime or Compliance experience is mandatory.

Some other highly valued skills include:

  • Excellent written and oral communication with extensive experience in financial services or highly regulated industry.
  • Experience in the implementation of org-wide processes and improvements.

Purpose of the role

To lead and manage engineering teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions, driving technical excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives.

Accountabilities

  • Lead engineering teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture to achieve project goals and meet organizational objectives.
  • Oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management and task prioritization to ensure the successful delivery of solutions within scope, time, and budget.
  • Mentor and support team members' professional growth, conduct performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluation and enhancement of engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and optimize team productivity.
  • Collaboration with business partners, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure a cohesive approach to product development.
  • Enforcement of technology standards, facilitate peer reviews, and implement robust testing practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
