Mandatory Requirement:
  • Strong understanding of General Insurance and broking products (EB & Non- EB) and practices in India.
  • 12+ years in insurance sales, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within insurance broking or insurance companies.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the national sales strategy in line with company objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities, client segments, and distribution channels.
  • Drive growth in corporate, SME, and affinity client segments.
  • Lead, guide, and mentor Regional Sales Managers and their teams.
  • Define sales targets and ensure consistent achievement across geographies.
  • Build a performance-driven culture through coaching, training, and recognition.
  • Strengthen and maintain relationships with key corporate clients and decision-makers.
  • Oversee client renewals, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities.
  • Ensure delivery of tailored risk and insurance solutions to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with insurance companies to secure competitive terms and innovative solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing, service level agreements, and placement of large/complex risks.
  • Stay updated with insurer offerings, regulatory changes, and market trends.
  • Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations and internal compliance policies.
  • Maintain transparent, ethical, and client-first business practices.

Qualification and Experience:
  • Must be a Graduate/MBA (Insurance, Finance, or related specialization preferred).
  • Minimum 12+ years into insurance or insurance broking
