
National Sales Manager

Role Overview:
The National Sales Manager (NSM) will be responsible for driving sales, building distribution, and expanding organization's footprint across India. This is a hardcore sales leadership role with channel growth & revenue delivery as the top priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Expansion
- Deliver aggressive sales targets across salon professional, GT, MT, and e-commerce channels.
- Build distributor/dealer networks pan-India and strengthen relationships with trade partners.
- Ensure salon penetration through partnerships with premium salon chains, standalone spas, and beauty institutes.
2. Channel Management
- Drive D2C & e-commerce sales.
- Expand visibility in modern trade & specialty beauty retail outlets.
- Ensure smooth distributor operations credit, collections, and stock hygiene.
3. Execution Excellence
- Implement sales systems: forecasting, beat planning, territory management.
- Drive strong in-store visibility & merchandising.
- Plan and execute trade schemes, promotions, and salon education programs.
4. Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage a regional sales team.
- Build a strong performance-driven culture with clear KPIs.
- Conduct regular market visits to track execution and market feedback.
Key Requirements
- 15 to 20years of experience in FMCG/beauty/personal care sales, with exposure to salon/professional channels preferred.
- Proven track record of delivering strong sales growth in competitive markets.
- Strong distributor management and channel-building expertise.
- Hands-on operator who can combine strategy with on-ground hustle.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and leadership skills.
- Excellent team handling skills.
- MBA or similar degree or relevant work experience in the job.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Fixed CTC: 35-40 LPA (depending on experience).
- Sales-linked incentives (1020% of CTC).
