Job Title: Accounting Software Advisor

As part of our commitment to delivering excellent financial solutions, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Accounting Software Advisor to join our dynamic team. 

Job Summary:

As an Accounting Software Advisor, you will be responsible for the successful adoption and integration of Midmarket accounting software for our clients within our organisation. Working with the UK team and closely with the business or organisation finance and IT teams, you will be the subject technical software expert in configuring, customising, and supporting the 'go live' stages of the accounting software project to ensure it aligns seamlessly with their business processes and accounting requirements. Your expertise will be pivotal in enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity in their financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management: Support, manage, develop and a comprehensive implementation plan, setting clear timelines and milestones for the successful adoption of the accounting software. Keeping to the timelines set by the project plan

2. Software Configuration: Customise the accounting software to meet the specific needs of the organization, including chart of accounts setup, transaction recording, financial reporting, and any other necessary configurations from Design documentation.

3. Data Migration: Oversee the migration of financial data from existing systems to the new accounting software while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

4. Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.

5. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing of the accounting software to identify and resolve any issues before deployment, ensuring a stable and error-free implementation.

6. Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation, including user manuals, process guides, and implementation reports to facilitate knowledge sharing and compliance with best practices.

7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest accounting software trends, industry best practices, and regulatory changes to recommend enhancements and improvements to the financial management processes.

8. Compliance: Ensure that the implemented accounting software meets all relevant regulatory requirements and adheres to the organization's internal policies and procedures. Including sign off from project completion.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience in the deployment of accounting software solutions

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes, and relevant software tools.

- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intaact, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and expertise in software configuration and customisation.

- Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful accounting software projects.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to understand complex business requirements and translate them into software solutions.

- Good communication and customer relationship skills

- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
