Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will transform data into actionable insights using Power BI and Sage software to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key business metrics and trends.
  • Extract, analyze, and interpret data from Sage software to support financial reporting and business operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand reporting requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Create automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Monitor data quality and implement validation procedures to ensure reliable insights.
  • Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in business data to support strategic planning.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Document technical specifications, data models, and reporting processes.
  • Stay current with Power BI updates and best practices to optimize reporting capabilities.

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience working with Power BI, including dashboard creation, DAX formulas, and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with Sage software (please specify version, e.g., Sage 50, Sage 100, Sage Intacct, Sage X3).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Knowledge of other business intelligence tools and data visualization platforms.
  • Understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts.
  • Microsoft certifications in Power BI or related technologies.
