Desired Qualifications:

Qualified Chartered Accountants with 1 to 2 years of work experience in accounting.

Part qualified or Graduate/Post-Graduate in Commerce or MBA in Finance having good accounting

knowledge and 6 to 7 years of work experience in accounting. Good knowledge of an accounting

software and MS Office is mandatory.

Good written and verbal skills in English.

Roles & responsibilities:

High level review of bookkeeping work done by the team and responsibility for accurate and timely

delivery to client. Detailed review of the financial statements. Indulging in resolution of team queries,

team trainings, team appraisals and ensuring strict compliance with the laid down

policies/procedures/instructions. Responsible for meeting SLAs.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable,general ledger and bank
  • reconciliations
  • Review of management accounts, working papers and VAT packs
  • Review of year end accounts
  • High level review of all the checklists for compliance with the procedures
  • Preparation of forecasts, cashflows where required
  • Liaison with the client for output, and review notes
  • Preparation/review of observations and recommendations.
  • Agreement on the time budgets with client
  • Team trainings and appraisals
  • Nominations for rewards & recognition
  • Other clerical and administrative support as required by the team and seniors

Reporting Structure:

Level reporting to : Assistant Manager/Manager

Level reporting in : Associate/Sr. Associate
