Purpose of the role: 

 To help with legal work like drafting and reviewing contracts, making sure the company follows legal rules, and supporting other teams with their legal and compliance needs.

Job Description: 

  1. Conduct legal research on relevant IT & ITES laws and regulations, including data privacy, intellectual property, and cybersecurity.
  2. First level drafting of the standard SOWs for existing clients
  3. First level review of the licence agreements required by the business teams in connection with delivery of services
  4. Assist with vendor management, including reviewing vendor NDAs, vendor contracts and ensuring adherence to contractual terms.
  5. Support compliance manager in managing the legal compliances. 
  6. Handle the administrative work for the legal department: 
  1. Preparation of synopsis for client contracts
  2. Preparation and updation of obligation matrix for client contracts
  3. Maintenance of clients' contract register
  4. Preparation of legal MIS on monthly basis
  5. Review of VRF, standard NDA and Agreement and other documents related to vendor onboarding.
  6. Follow-up with internal department on the legal matters including renewal of customer/vendor contracts, pricing sheet etc. 

The characteristics we are looking for are:

  1. Law Graduate with minimum 4-6 years of work experience
  2. Strong MS office skills 
  3. Strong written and verbal communication
