Key responsibilities
- Front desk management: Greet and welcome visitors, answer and direct phone calls, screen calls, and ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Administrative support: Schedule meetings and appointments, handle incoming and outgoing mail, and perform data entry.
- Communication: Act as the first point of contact for a company, providing information to visitors and callers.
- Office operations: Maintain office stationery, operate office equipment, and potentially handle basic bookkeeping or customer service tasks depending on the company.
Skills and qualifications
- Experience: One year of experience in a receptionist or administrative role is beneficial.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Computer skills: Proficiency in using computers and office software is required.
- Organizational skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are necessary to manage various tasks.
- Interpersonal skills: A professional, friendly, and polite demeanor is crucial for interacting with clients and staff.
- Languages: Fluency in local languages like English, Hindi, and Gujarati is often preferred.
