Job Description: Store Manager – Jewelry RetailPosition Title: Store ManagerIndustry: Jewelry / Luxury RetailLocation: Store LocationReporting To: Area Manager / Retail HeadKey Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for gold, diamond, and jewelry categories.
  • Drive walk-in conversions, average ticket size, and repeat customer sales.
  • Handle high-value customers and close premium sales.
  • Plan and execute in-store promotions, schemes, and festive campaigns.
  • Monitor competitors' activities and market trends.

Store Operations

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations as per company SOPs.
  • Manage opening and closing of the store, cash handling, and reconciliation.
  • Maintain stock accuracy, inventory movement, and coordination with HO.
  • Ensure compliance with billing, hallmarking, HUID, and GST regulations.
  • Supervise visual merchandising and product displays.

Inventory & Security

  • Monitor inward/outward movement of jewelry, gold, diamonds, and accessories.
  • Conduct daily stock checks, periodic audits, and surprise verifications.
  • Ensure strict adherence to security protocols, CCTV monitoring, and safety procedures.
  • Prevent pilferage, loss, and shrinkage.

Team Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate sales consultants, cashiers, and support staff.
  • Prepare staff rosters, attendance, leave management, and performance tracking.
  • Conduct daily briefings and monthly reviews with the team.
  • Ensure grooming, discipline, and professional conduct of staff.

Customer Experience

  • Deliver a premium and personalized customer experience.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalations effectively.
  • Maintain strong CRM follow-ups for leads, anniversaries, and repeat sales.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and loyalty.

Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare and submit daily sales reports, stock reports, and KPI dashboards.
  • Analyze store performance and share improvement plans with management.
  • Coordinate with accounts, CRM, merchandising, and marketing teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in jewelry retail, with 2+ years as Store Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of gold, diamond, gemstones, and jewelry processes.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and customer handling skills.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, CRM software, and MS Excel.
  • Understanding of retail compliance, audit processes, and SOPs.
  • Presentable personality with strong communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in branded jewelry retail or luxury stores.
