Job Title: Pastry Chef – Commi I & Commi II

Location: Red Rhino – Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, production, and presentation of desserts, pastries, breads, and baked goods.
  • Ensure recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards are consistently followed.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the pastry kitchen.
  • Support the Pastry Chef in day-to-day operations and ensure timely production.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory, and minimize wastage.
  • Contribute ideas for new pastry items and seasonal menu development.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality products under pressure.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a bakery/pastry kitchen (Hotels, Restaurants, or QSR preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of pastry, dessert, and baking techniques.
  • Passion for learning and growing within the pastry field.
  • Ability to follow instructions, maintain discipline, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards (FSSAI standards preferred).

Qualification:

  • Hotel Management Diploma/Degree or equivalent vocational training in Bakery & Patisserie.
  • Relevant work experience:
  • Commi I: 2–4 years of pastry/bakery experience.
  • Commi II: 1–2 years of pastry/bakery experience.
