Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and qualify potential clients in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with engineering managers, design teams, and procurement heads.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demos tailored to CAD/CAM and PLM solutions.
- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with client needs.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams for strategic alignment.
- Proposal & Contract Management
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and client expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. - Experience:
2–5 years in business development or sales in CAD/CAM, PLM, or engineering software domain. - Technical Acumen:
Understanding of CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks), CAM systems, and PLM platforms (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill). - Communication:
Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - CRM Proficiency:
Familiarity with tools like Salesforce or Zoho CRM.
