Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Country Head - Australia, located in Ahmedabad. The Country Head will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, developing and implementing strategic plans, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with immigration regulations. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with clients and other stakeholders. The Country Head will closely monitor market trends and make informed decisions to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Develop, manage, and expand the Australia-focused immigration and education services division.
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure smooth delivery of services and compliance with organisational policies.
  • Implement best practices in handling visa applications and client documentation.

Visa Application & Compliance

  • Oversee assessment and lodgement of Australian visa applications, including student visas, skilled migration, partner visas, and employer-sponsored visas.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Australian immigration regulations, ethical standards, and documentation accuracy.
  • Review case files and provide expert guidance to counsellors and case officers.

Team Management & Staff Development

  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff including counsellors, case processors, and support staff.
  • Set performance goals and regularly evaluate employee outputs to maintain professional service standards.

Client Counselling & Relationship Management

  • Provide expert counselling to students, migrants, and families regarding Australian visa pathways and future prospects.
  • Address complex cases and resolve client concerns to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, education providers, and industry partners.

Business Growth & Strategy

  • Drive revenue growth through strategic marketing, conversion of leads, and expansion of institutional partnerships in Australia.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and service improvements.
  • Represent the organisation at seminars, education fairs, and corporate engagements.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track application progress, staff productivity, and client feedback to enhance service quality.
  • Prepare monthly business performance reports for senior management.


Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

  • Graduate degree in Business Administration, Education, Immigration Studies, or related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Australian visa and immigration consultancy.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian student visa and migration regulations.
  • Proven leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship-building abilities.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in an authorized/registered migration firm.
  • Strong network with Australian educational providers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage high-volume caseloads.
