About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Inventory Department. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of fabrics, threads, trims, and colours, and be able to efficiently manage material inflow, outflow, and stock levels to ensure smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials (fabrics, threads, accessories, trims, etc.).
  • Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and storage of fabrics and materials as per quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the production and designing teams to issue materials as per the order requirements.
  • Regularly update inventory management systems and reconcile physical stock with system records.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly stock audits to ensure zero discrepancies.
  • Maintain colour, fabric, and thread swatches for reference and sampling.
  • Check for fabric quality, shrinkage, and dye lot consistency before issuing for production.
  • Track vendor deliveries and maintain documentation for purchase and consumption.
  • Monitor low-stock items and raise material requisitions on time.
  • Support inventory head in implementing efficient storage, identification, and retrieval systems.

Key Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of fabrics, threads, colours, and trims.
  • Good understanding of garment material flow from purchase to production.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.
  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel, inventory software preferred).
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum Graduate / Diploma in Textile, Fashion, or related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in inventory, store, or material handling (preferably in the fashion or garment industry).
