A Solar Sales Executive finds clients, assesses needs, explains solar benefits, designs custom systems, presents proposals, negotiates, closes deals, and manages customer relationships, aiming to meet sales targets while staying current on solar tech, incentives, and market trends, driving company growth. They act as a bridge between solar technology and customers, handling the entire sales cycle from lead generation to installation coordination. Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Find new clients through networking, cold calling, referrals, and marketing efforts.
- Customer Consultation: Meet clients, understand energy usage, conduct site assessments, and educate them on solar options.
- System Design & Proposals: Develop customized solar system designs, calculate cost-benefit, and present tailored proposals with quotes.
- Sales & Negotiation: Close deals, negotiate contracts, and handle pricing, taxes, and financing details.
- Project Coordination: Work with installation teams for smooth project execution.
- Client Management: Maintain strong relationships post-sale, ensuring satisfaction and gathering referrals.
- Market Knowledge: Stay updated on solar products, technology, government incentives, and market trends.
- Reporting: Track sales activities, report performance, and forecast sales to management.
