Job title: Field Sales Executive (IT)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Executive with 2 to 4 years of experience in IT sales to join our team. As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, building strong relationships, and driving the sales of our IT products and solutions. Your deep understanding of the IT industry, combined with your proven sales acumen, will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and achieving revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and identify potential clients within the assigned territory, leveraging both existing leads and generating new leads through market research and networking.
- Conduct thorough research to understand clients' business needs, challenges, and IT requirements in order to tailor solutions that align with their objectives.
- Initiate contact and engage with decision-makers, including C-level executives and IT managers, through meetings, presentations, calls, and emails.
- Articulate the value propositions of our IT products and solutions, demonstrating a deep understanding of their technical features and benefits.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, addressing client pain points and effectively conveying how our offerings can solve their challenges.
- Collaborate closely with the pre-sales and technical teams to ensure accurate solution design and seamless proposal creation.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to achieve win-win outcomes while maximizing company profitability.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and quotas on a consistent basis, contributing significantly to the overall revenue growth of the company.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to effectively position our products and solutions in a competitive market.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field.
- Proven track record of 2 to 4 years in field sales within the IT industry, with a strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build strong relationships with clients.
- Results-oriented mindset with a drive to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a keen eye for identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools to manage and track leads effectively.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
