Job Title: Category Manager Private Label Electronics/- Large Appliances

Job Location: Bangalore - Domlur - Challagatta

Note: As a Sr. Category Manager - Private Label in Electronics you will be responsible for overseeing product selection, managing supplier relationships, optimising inventory, setting pricing strategies, executing promotions, analysing market trends, collaborating with cross-functional teams, evaluating performance metrics, introducing new products, and ensures compliance and quality standards in a retail setting.

What would you be doing/Expect from this role?

  • Product Portfolio Management for Festive and Seasonal merchandise

  • Assortment planning and buying for assigned categories within general merchandise.

  • Vendor management: Onboarding brands, negotiating payment terms & terms of agreements.

  • Operational efficiency: Work with cross-functional teams, replenishment teams, finance teams, marketing teams, content teams, and regional teams to ensure a smooth functioning system and timely execution of the assigned tasks.

Who are we looking for?

  • Must have sound knowledge of Buying and sourcing from Brands Electronics product categories

  • Must have over 3 years of experience of handling Private Label Electronics product categories in a reputed retail / Ecommerce company.

  • Strong vendor / Brand management skills, Strong negotiation, and analytical skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, merchandising skills, Inventory management, Buying & Sourcing skills, multi-tasking.

  • Must have good familiarity with eCommerce buying and merchandising.

  • Understanding the market trends & figuring out opportunities for new and existing categories & sub-categories.

  • New Product development, designing trends by identifying new Vendors.

  • Must have good experience of Buying and Sourcing of Electronics / Large appliance / Electronics from Brands.

  • Must have minumum 3 Years Experience in Electronics Category
