This opportunity is with our client, a well-established Indian company based in Kolkata, specializing in the production and export of bulk ferroalloys.

Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager - Ferro Alloys Marketing (Domestic)

Reporting: Head of Marketing

Job Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Shift Timing: 10 AM - 7 PM IST | Work from Office only | 6 day working week

Job Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Order Management: Oversee the complete order-to-delivery cycle to ensure smooth execution.
  • Key Account Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients to drive long-term success.
  • Business Development: Leverage your expertise in steel, stainless steel, and foundries to identify new opportunities and drive growth. Industry knowledge is essential.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive annual business plan for FY25, focusing on domestic market expansion.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Drive sales efforts to meet a target of 100,000T in Ferro Alloys & Chrome alloy sales.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build lasting partnerships, with a focus on top-tier clients and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of product quality, managing processes and compliance.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, procurement, stores, quality) and external partners (transporters, customers) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Marketing Creativity: Take the lead on creating and executing marketing events to strengthen brand presence and customer engagement.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience in selling steel and stainless steel products.
  • In-depth knowledge of the steel industry.
  • Access to key players and senior executives in steel organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with senior decision-makers.
  • Skilled in navigating complex negotiations and aligning business objectives.
