Position: Senior Manager- Travel Operations & Sales

Team: 4-6
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced travel professional who can lead end-to-end travel operations, drive sales closures and business generation, manage client relations, and ensure smooth team coordination across domestic and international markets.
This role requires a balance of strategic sales acumen, operational efficiency, and leadership skills, supported by strong proficiency in CRM and travel management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Generation
- Drive business growth through lead generation, conversion, and repeat business.
- Close domestic and international travel sales (FIT, group, MICE, custom holidays).
- Track sales funnel, performance metrics, and revenue targets via CRM.
Operations Management
- Oversee all operational aspects: itinerary planning, booking, vendor coordination, and client communication.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and timely execution of travel plans.
- Optimize internal processes for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Team Management
- Supervise a team of 4 members (sales, operations, support).
- Monitor team performance and provide training/coaching where needed.
- Ensure daily targets, quality checks, and CRM data accuracy.
Client Handling & Relationship Management
- Serve as escalation point for key clients.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and clients.
- Maintain CRM records of client interactions and feedback.
Technology & Reporting
- Utilize CRM software for lead management, pipeline tracking, and client follow-ups.
- Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, leads, and operational KPIs.
- Ensure team compliance with CRM usage and data hygiene.
Desired Profile:
- 5–7 years of experience in travel services with exposure to both domestic and international markets.
- Proven track record in sales closures, business development, and operations.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools (Sembark, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Preferred background from companies like Travel Triangle, MakeMyTrip, Travel Clan, Sadguru Travels, Veena , Kesari, or similar.
