Role Overview

The Head of Talent Acquisition is responsible for driving the organizations end-to-end recruitment strategy and execution across all functions and geographies. This role is critical in ensuring business scalability by managing Retail Jewellery hiring, mass hiring across PAN India, leadership hiring, and building a commission/incentive-based hiring ecosystem. The incumbent will ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective hiring aligned with workforce planning while leading a high-performance talent acquisition team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive talent acquisition roadmap aligned with short- and long-term organizational goals.
  • Design differentiated recruitment models for frontline, corporate, and executive-level hiring.
  • Translate workforce projections into actionable hiring plans across business units.

2. Retail Jewellery and Mass Hiring (PAN India)

  • Drive mass hiring for Retail Jewellery stores (COCO and FOFO formats) across Tier 1/2/3 cities, covering roles like showroom sales, store managers, and customer service staff.
  • Establish regional hiring infrastructure and implement localized sourcing strategies.
  • Ensure timely staffing for new store launches, expansions, and seasonal demand.

3. Leadership Hiring

  • Lead CXO and senior leadership hiring across key business functions and regions.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and external search partners for critical roles.
  • Build and maintain a strong leadership talent pipeline aligned with succession plans.

4. Commission/Incentive-Based Sales, Head Office & Field Teams

  • Lead the recruitment of high-performing sales, head office, and field employees using incentive-based hiring models.
  • Hire employees on performance-linked incentive structures to drive productivity and reduce fixed costs.
  • Build scalable sourcing networks including freelance recruiters, referral agents, and external hiring partners to support this model.
  • Develop frameworks that align incentive-based hiring with clear KPIs, structured onboarding, and measurable output.
  • Promote a performance-driven culture by linking recruitment strategy with rewards, performance, and business goals.

5. Team Development & Internal Capability Building

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing TA team with clearly defined KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Drive recruiter training, continuous improvement, and alignment with company culture and expectations.
  • Develop team-based incentive structures and ensure cultural alignment with organizational values.

6. Employer Branding

  • Enhance employer branding across digital platforms, job portals, and campuses.
  • Communicate compelling messaging about company culture, growth opportunities, and employee value proposition.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and HR Communication for recruitment marketing initiatives.

7. Recruitment Technology & Process Optimization

  • Implement and manage recruitment technologies (ATS, CRM) to streamline hiring processes.
  • Drive real-time recruitment analytics and reporting to track progress, performance, and updates for management.
  • Continuously optimize recruitment workflows to ensure efficiency, scalability, and compliance.

8. Compliance, Governance & Vendor Management

  • Ensure all hiring processes comply with applicable labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Manage recruitment budgets, external vendor relationships, and agency contracts.
  • Conduct periodic process audits and reviews to maintain operational integrity.
