Job Description:

As a Field Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to generate sales by actively engaging with interior designers, homeowners, and other stakeholders within the home decor and furnishing sector. You will be responsible for pitching our products, building relationships, and closing deals. Your role will require you to conduct regular site visits, attend meetings, and provide tailored solutions to clients based on their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation: Actively prospect, pitch, and close sales for furniture and interior furnishings by meeting with interior designers, homeowners, and other potential clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with interior designers, architects, and homeowners to ensure repeat business.
  • Product Presentations: Conduct in-person or virtual product demonstrations, ensuring clients understand the full range of offerings and how they meet their design and functionality needs.
  • Lead Follow-ups: Continuously follow up with leads and opportunities to convert them into successful sales.
  • Market Research: Stay up to date on market trends, competitors, and new products to effectively present the best solutions to clients.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, client interactions, and market feedback to the sales manager.
  • Sales Goals: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, with an emphasis on closing deals and achieving company revenue goals.
  • Customer Service: Address customer queries, handle complaints, and resolve any issues post-sale to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven Sales Experience: Previous experience in a sales role, ideally within the furniture, interior design, or home furnishings sector.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and closing skills to seal deals effectively and maximize sales.
  • Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Ability to work independently and drive your own sales pipeline while staying focused on reaching sales targets.
  • Relationship-Building: Ability to build trust and maintain long-term professional relationships.
  • Knowledge of Interior Design: A basic understanding of interior design principles, furniture types, and materials is highly preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License: Required for site visits and client meetings (company vehicle or travel expenses may be provided).

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $10,000 - $18,000 per month, based on experience.
  • Commission: 2% commission on all sales closed.
