Role Description

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient café operations during your assigned shift. You will support the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day functioning, staff management, and customer service excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee café operations during the assigned shift and ensure a smooth handover to the next shift.
  • Review the shift handover document, communicate with the Restaurant or Area Manager, if required, and plan effectively for the day.
  • Supervise and manage team discipline, punctuality, and task delegation.
  • Explain menu items and ingredients to customers and assist them in selecting dishes based on their preferences.
  • Take customer orders and ensure accuracy and timeliness in service.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve any service-related conflicts promptly.
  • Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and overall ambiance of the outlet.
  • Conduct inventory checks, manage stock levels, and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensuring team members are well-groomed, in uniform, and follow hygiene protocols as per company guidelines.
  • Train and guide team members on basic tasks and customer service etiquette.
  • Addressing and resolving issues during shifts or escalating them to the Restaurant or Area Manager when necessary.

Who can apply:

  • Experience: 2-4 years in hospitality or QSR industry (mandatory).
  • Diploma / Bachelors in hospitality or hotel management preferred.
  • Have strong leadership & communication skills.
  • English Proficiency is mandatory (Spoken and Written), and Microsoft Office.
  • Customer service orientation and problem-solving mindset.
