About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Plant Head to lead end-to-end factory operations, including production, maintenance, logistics, safety, and administration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing manufacturing units, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and driving continuous improvements in productivity, cost efficiency, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations & Administration

  • Lead and oversee all plant operations production, maintenance, logistics, and administration.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
  • Liaise with government departments for compliance with ISO norms, pollution control, labour laws, and factory act requirements.

2. Maintenance Management

  • Supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance of all production machinery and utilities (DG sets, compressors, chillers, cooling towers, transformers, etc.).
  • Manage spare parts procurement, annual maintenance contracts, and coordination with vendors.
  • Ensure uninterrupted plant operations with minimum downtime.

3. Fire & Safety

  • Ensure full compliance with fire and safety regulations.
  • Maintain all fire safety equipment and conduct regular safety drills and audits.
  • Monitor plant security, CCTV systems, and asset movement.

4. Labour & People Management

  • Supervise and evaluate performance of workers, supervisors, and maintenance teams.
  • Manage workforce discipline, morale, and development.
  • Build and maintain a positive and safe working environment.

5. Compliance & Legal

  • Ensure all statutory, environmental, and labour compliances are met.
  • Maintain up-to-date factory licenses and government approvals.

6. MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for senior management.
  • Track key metrics — production efficiency, downtime, manpower utilization, and safety records.
