Job Description: Plant Head

Location : Sahibabad (Near Dabu Chowk) & Noida Phase 2

About compnay : An Indian MNC that manufactures and exports thermoplastic and thermosetting powder coatings, plastic masterbatches, and cryogenically pulverized plastic powders .

Administration

  • The Plant Head is responsible for managing and coordinating total factory operations, including production, logistics, maintenance, and administration.
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving plant output (productivity) and reducing operational costs.
  • Undertaken effective liaising with various Government Departments, Institutions such as, ISO quality norms, government electricity departments, government labour, water & pollution Control Boards, factories act, etc.

Maintenance

  • Handled the maintenance of production related machines and utilities such as chilling plant, diesel generator, cooling towers, air compressors, elevators, transformers and electrical control panels
  • Managed a diverse range of tasks such as identification of spare part suppliers, managing spare part inventory in coordination with the production department. Additionally, handling annual maintenance contracts of all machine and utilities.
  • Undertake preventive & breakdown maintenance to the machines and utilities of the entire plant.

Fire & Safety

  • Maintain compliance with all government safety regulations.
  • Maintenance of all fire equipment.
  • Training and educate other employees
  • Develop and implement fire safety protocols, procedures, and evacuation plans tailored to each property.
  • Conduct routine inspections, fire drills, and safety audits to identify and rectify safety deficiencies and ensure occupants are prepared for emergencies.
  • Ensure safety of the plant and its assets by way of monitoring movement of goods in and out of the factory.
  • 7- Ensure safety of assets by maintaining law and order inside the premises through surveillance methods such as CCTV and other policies and actions.

Labour Management

  • Evaluate performance of workers and maintenance staff
  • Recruiting, managing, and developing plant staff
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Building a trusting relationship with workers
  • Compliance and Legal

MIS/Reporting

  • Prepare various reports for senior management
