, dedicated to helping students excel academically while developing future-ready skills. We are now on a mission to
double our student intake for the academic year 2025–2026
and strengthen our brand as
"the next big thing in the international curriculum space."
To drive this growth, we are looking for a
Marketing & Outreach Manager
who can own and deliver this mandate.
Role Objective
To
increase student intake by 100%
for AY 2025–26 through strategic marketing, school & parent outreach, partnerships, and brand-building initiatives, while positioning The Student Scoop as the
go-to institute for international curriculum coaching
in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
1. Growth & Intake Strategy
- Design and execute a
12-month growth plan
to achieve
100% increase in admissions
across all centers.
- Analyse past data (enquiries, conversions, drop-offs, geographies, board preferences) and
recommend strategies
to:
- Increase enquiry volume
- Improve counselling & conversion rates
- Retain existing students and drive referrals
- Set, track, and report
monthly KPIs
for leads, walk-ins, conversions, and revenue.
2. Outreach & Partnerships
- Build and manage
relationships with schools, counsellors, and key decision-makers
in the IB/IGCSE/MYP ecosystem.
- Identify and close
strategic partnerships
with:
- Schools (integrated programs, after-school tie-ups)
- Coaching centres / activity centres
- Education consultants & study abroad agencies
- Plan and execute
school talks, seminars, webinars, open houses, and fairs
to generate quality leads.
3. Marketing Campaigns & Brand Building
- Create and implement
online + offline marketing campaigns
for:
- Admissions for grades & boards
- Result announcements & success stories
- Events, workshops, bootcamps & masterclasses
- Work with designers/agency to create
high-quality creatives
: posters, reels, brochures, standees, WhatsApp creatives, landing pages, etc.
- Build and manage a consistent brand voice that positions The Student Scoop as a
trusted, expert-led international curriculum institute
.
4. Digital Marketing & Performance Tracking
- Oversee and coordinate:
- Social media marketing (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook)
- Performance marketing (Meta/Google Ads) in coordination with agency/freelancers
- Website content & SEO inputs for better visibility on IB, IGCSE, MYP-related keywords.
- Track metrics like
cost per enquiry, cost per admission, CTR, lead quality
and continuously refine campaigns for better ROI.
5. Events, Community & Parent Engagement
- Conceptualize and execute
student conclaves, parent orientations, topper-talks, result celebrations
etc.
- Design
referral programs, loyalty initiatives, and testimonials campaigns
involving students and parents.
- Coordinate event logistics with internal team to ensure impactful, well-branded experiences.
6. Internal Collaboration & Process Building
- Work closely with:
- Counselling & Sales team
– to ensure leads are nurtured and converted.
- Academic team
– to convert academic strengths into marketing stories (results, projects, university admits).
- Build
standard operating procedures (SOPs)
for:
- Lead management & follow-up
- Event follow-through
- Reporting and review rhythms
- Present
monthly dashboards
to the Founder on performance, insights, and action items.
What We Expect from the Ideal Candidate
(Must-Have Experience)
- 3–7 years
of experience in
marketing/outreach/admissions
for:
- Education institutes / coaching classes / international schools / EdTech, OR
- High-growth service businesses with a strong B2C component.
- Proven track record
of:
- Increasing student intake / admissions significantly (ideally 50–100%+ over a cycle), and
- Successfully planning and executing outreach campaigns or partnerships.
- Experience interacting with
school principals, coordinators, parents, and students.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong
strategic thinking
– can
suggest what needs to be done
, not just execute instructions.
- Hands-on with:
- Campaign planning & calendar creation
- Writing basic briefs/copies for creatives & posts
- Coordinating with designers/agency and internal teams
- Good understanding of
lead funnels
and
conversion journeys
(awareness → enquiry → counselling → admission).
- Excellent
communication & presentation skills
(English; comfort with Hindi/Marathi is a plus).
- Strong
relationship-building skills
and confidence in representing the brand at meetings and events.
- Data-driven mindset – comfortable using
Excel/Sheets, CRM tools, dashboards
, and deriving insights from numbers.

- 100% increase in student intake
for AY 2025–26 (centre-wise and overall).
- Number of
qualified leads generated per month
and conversion rate.
- Number and quality of
school & counsellor partnerships
established.
- Engagement & participation at events/webinars and their conversion.
- Improvement in
brand visibility & recall
in our target geographies and segments.
Education
- Graduate / Postgraduate in
Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related fields
.
- MBA in Marketing or prior
education-sector experience
is a strong advantage.
