Internship Offer – Outreach, Partnerships and Alumni Engagement Intern

(December 2025 – March 2026)

This internship is designed as a
learning and mentoring engagement
that offers a young

person an opportunity to deepen their skills in outreach, communication, and leadership while

contributing meaningfully to our mission. The primary focus will be to help us create and

strengthen connections with schools and alumni that share our vision of peace and leadership

education.

The position is paid, part time hours a week), and fully remote, and we encourage

applications from youth with strong networking and marketing skills and those interested in

peace-aligned work.

We're Looking For Candidates Who Possess:

•
Deep Mission Commitment:
A demonstrated passion for the values and goals of

Seeds of Peace India, youth leadership, and the broader peace-building and

development sector.

•
Exceptional Communication:
Excellent verbal and written English communication

skills, with a professional yet warm tone suitable for engaging high-level school

administrators and Alumni.

•
Proactive Self-Starter:
High degree of self-motivation, reliability, and the ability to

manage time effectively in a predominantly remote environment.

•
Digital Fluency:
Comfort and experience utilizing digital tools, including spreadsheets

(Excel/Google Sheets), email platforms, and social media.

•
Relationship & Follow-Up Skills:
An empathetic, approachable demeanour, coupled

with strong organizational habits for consistent, effective follow-up on leads and

partnerships.

•
Educational Background:
We ideally look for candidates who are currently enrolled in,

or are a recent graduate of, a relevant program (e.g., Marketing, Communications,

Social Work, International Relations, Education, or a related field). However, we strongly

encourage applications from all individuals who feel they possess the required skills and

mission commitment, regardless of their background and age. We value diverse

Scope of Work

Your learning and contribution areas will include:

A. School Outreach and Partnership Development

•
Database Management:
Updating and expanding our school outreach database.

•
Strategic Identification:
Researching and identifying potential partner schools across

India and reconnecting with previous partner schools.

•
Relationship Building:
Introducing Seeds of Peace India to educators and coordinators

through emails or online communication.

•
Meeting Coordination:
Assisting in scheduling meetings between school

representatives and our Program Team.

•
Follow-up & Nurturing:
Supporting ongoing communication with interested schools.

B. Alumni Engagement

•
Alumni Storytelling:
Collecting stories and short video testimonials from alumni on the

impact of their Seeds of Peace journey.

•
Strategic Alumni Integration:
Helping to compile an updated alumni database and

exploring ways to engage them as advisors, school connectors, or ambassadors.

Supervision and Support

You will be directly guided and mentored by
Ms. Urmi Chanda
, Program Manager, Seeds of

Peace India. The internship will be
supervised, non-hazardous, educational
, and focused on

your personal and professional development. At the end of the internship, you will receive an

official Letter of Completion
acknowledging your role, skills developed, and contributions

made.

Nature of Engagement

This internship is
not an employment contract
but a
learning engagement
for a limited

duration of three months with the possibility of a three-month extension. However, it does not

create an employer–employee relationship and carries no obligation of future employment.
