Business Development and Sales Representative

As a Business Development and Sales Representative at Sumant Cloud you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and closing deals to achieve sales targets. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a passion for technology.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Utilize various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and social media to identify and qualify potential leads.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target industries. Understand their business needs and pain points to offer tailored solutions.
- Solution Presentation and Demonstration: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our software solutions. Address client inquiries and objections effectively to drive interest and engagement.
- Proposal Development: Prepare customized proposals and quotations outlining the features, benefits, and pricing of our software solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals meet client requirements and align with company objectives.
- Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements to reach mutually beneficial outcomes. Close deals in a timely manner while adhering to sales targets and revenue goals.
- Post-Sales Support: Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation. Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients to ensure their satisfaction and maximize retention.
- Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and refine sales strategies accordingly.Role & responsibilities
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in software sales or business development, with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and decision-making processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
