Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Business Development Representative to lead initiatives that drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build long-term client relationships. This role requires a proactive leader who can identify new opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and manage the end-to-end business development process. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial acumen, a proven track record in B2B business development, and excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across target markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to meet organizational growth goals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, partners, and clients.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategy and identify trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and delivery teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
  • Create and present compelling proposals, pitch decks, and business cases to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales pipeline, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM systems.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide regular performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Mentor and support junior business development staff (if applicable).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.
  • Strong background in B2B sales and client relationship management.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
