Job Title: Area Service Manager Large Home Appliances

Location: Guwahati (Candidate must have prior exposure to the region)

Experience: Minimum 4+ years in Service Operations for Large Home Appliances (Refrigerators, Washing Machines, Air Conditioners, etc.)

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee service operations across the assigned area to ensure high-quality after-sales support and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, guide, and monitor a team of service engineers, technicians, and authorized service centers.
  • Ensure adherence to service SLAs, turnaround times (TAT), and quality standards.
  • Drive implementation of service policies, processes, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze service performance metrics; identify gaps and initiate corrective actions.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and logistics to ensure timely availability and minimal downtime.
  • Coordinate with regional and central service teams for escalations, product feedback, and process alignment.
  • Conduct regular audits of service centers to ensure compliance with company standards and safety protocols.
  • Handle customer escalations effectively, ensuring prompt resolution and enhanced customer experience.
  • Support new product launches by training service teams and ensuring service readiness.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key service partners in the region.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports on service performance, cost control, and customer feedback.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics preferred).
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in service operations within the large home appliances industry.
  • Strong exposure and understanding of the Guwahati / North East market.
  • Excellent team management, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
