Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Guwahati for the role of Area Sales Manager. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing sales operations within their designated area, developing and implementing sales strategies, and achieving business targets. Daily responsibilities include managing, training, and motivating a team of sales representatives, identifying new market opportunities, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining efficient retailer and distributor relationships. The role also involves regular performance analysis and reporting to senior management.

  • Strong expertise in sales, market analysis, and the development of sales strategies tailored to regional markets.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills to supervise, train, and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with clients, retailers, and distributors.
  • Proficiency in market research and the ability to identify new business opportunities and trends.
  • Familiarity with the FMCG sector, Ayurveda products, or wellness industries is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to achieving sales targets and business growth.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site in Guwahati to meet regional sales requirements and team needs.
