Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time position located in Guwahati and Silliguri for an Area Sales Manager (ASM) - Cosmetics. The ASM will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a sales team, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets within the assigned area. Daily activities include analyzing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with distributors and retailers, and overseeing sales operations. The role also involves coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their performance and ensure effective execution of sales plans.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development skills with the ability to identify and seize market opportunities.
  • Excellent team management, leadership, and mentoring capabilities.
  • Proficiency in market analysis, strategy implementation, and achieving sales targets.
  • Highly effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in a dynamic environment and adapt to market changes effectively.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the cosmetics or FMCG industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications and tools.
  • Fluency in English and the local language is preferred.
