Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager (Project) based in Guwahati. The role involves overseeing project-based sales initiatives, establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying business opportunities, and achieving sales targets in the assigned territory. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for liaising with contractors, builders, and consultants, handling negotiations, preparing reports, and strategizing to ensure effective market penetration and project closures. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery to clients.

Qualifications

  • Strong project sales and business development skills, with experience in client relationship management and meeting revenue targets.
  • Proficiency in market research, competitor analysis, and creating effective sales strategies.
  • Knowledge of piping solutions, polymers, and industry-specific needs such as plumbing, agriculture, sewage, and drainage systems is highly preferred.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to liaise with contractors, builders, and consultants.
  • Ability to work on-site and travel within the assigned territory as needed.
  • Previous experience in project sales within the infrastructure, construction, or related industries is an advantage.
  • Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
