Role Overview

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for sales growth, distributor management, and network expansion in the assigned territory. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sales, understands the hardware/plumbing market, and can build lasting relationships with channel partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Appoint and manage distributors/dealers in assigned markets.
  • Drive secondary sales through retailer visits, plumber meets, and product activations.
  • Ensure timely order booking, dispatches, collections, and credit control.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
  • Lead and guide sales officers/executives (if applicable).
  • Submit regular MIS reports and sales forecasts.

Qualifications

  • Graduate .
  • 4–8 years of sales experience in building materials, adhesives, hardware, paints, or related industries.
  • Strong distributor and channel sales expertise.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
