Job Title: Purchase Assistant

Job Summary:

The Purchase Assistant will support the procurement team in sourcing materials, preparing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining accurate records. This role ensures timely availability of goods and services while following company policies and vendor management procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in sourcing suppliers and collecting quotations.

  2. Prepare purchase orders and follow up for order confirmations.

  3. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.

  4. Maintain and update vendor details, price lists, and purchase records.

  5. Verify invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.

  6. Track and monitor stock levels in coordination with the store/warehouse team.

  7. Assist in resolving delivery issues, discrepancies, or quality concerns.

  8. Support the purchase manager in negotiating prices, payment terms, and contracts.

  9. Generate and maintain purchase-related MIS reports.

  10. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Graduate in any discipline (preferably commerce or supply chain related).

  2. 0 – 2 years of experience in purchase/procurement or a related role.

  3. Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.

  4. Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.

  5. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9, ₹10,000.00 per month
