Assist the Purchasing Manager in the procurement of goods and services required by the engineering department.

Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase requisitions when inventory levels fall below minimum levels.

Conduct research on potential suppliers and maintain a list of approved vendors for different categories of materials and services.

Process purchase orders and ensure that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.

Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and to resolve any issues related to quality, quantity, or delivery schedules.

Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure that all invoices are accurate and properly coded.

Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers, and ensure compliance with terms and conditions of the agreements.

Maintain accurate records of all purchases, vendor contracts, and inventory levels.

Work with other departments, such as production, stores and accounting, to ensure that purchasing activities are aligned with organizational goals and budget constraints.

Assist with budget preparation and forecasting for the purchasing department.

Overall, the Purchase Assistant should ensure that the production department has the necessary materials and services to carry out their projects efficiently and effectively.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
