Citi's Risk Management organization oversees Citi's risk governance framework and risk appetite, ensures all risks generated by the firm's businesses are measured, reviewed, and monitored on an ongoing basis.
We're currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Vice President, Risk Reporting - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Assistant Vice President - C12) based in Mumbai, India. In this role, you're expected to:
The Risk Reporting and Exposure Monitoring role is critical for effectively managing and communicating the company's risk exposure. Individuals in this role provide a comprehensive analysis and reporting of inherent risks across various portfolios, and regulatory reporting in compliance with standards like FR Y-14. By providing a clear view of the company's risk profile, this role enables informed decision-making. This role is key to the company's overall risk management strategy, regulatory compliance and protection of financial health and reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive risk management frameworks for Wholesale Credit Risk.
- Lead the evaluation and validation of credit risk models, providing recommendations for enhancements.
- Establish processes for monitoring and mitigating emerging credit risks.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive regulatory reporting framework to ensure timely and accurate submission of reports.
- Lead the development of reporting templates and procedures.
- Oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive CAP management program, ensuring identified deficiencies are addressed.
- Report on the status of CAPs to senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on risk-related matters, providing guidance and support.
- Lead the design and implementation of robust data models and reporting processes to support strategic risk management initiatives.
- Establish data quality standards and controls to ensure accuracy.
- Oversee the planning and execution of strategic risk management projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Contribute to key risk management committees and forums, facilitating discussions and driving consensus.

Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience
- Experience in Market Risk Data is an added advantage
- Previous experience in risk management and/or regulatory reporting, data management.
- Clear and concise communication (verbal, written, and visual) and effective relational skills.
- Advanced quantitative/analytical skills, Data Architecture, Data warehouse
- Experience with tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, R, Python, SQL, SAS, Cognos Analytics, or other programs, indicating a progression in technical skills.Experienceworking with senior business stakeholders
- Ability to influence and drive users to adopt strategic solutions
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
- Certifications such as CPA, FRM or CFA are a plus.
